Formación

Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Collections Specialist to support Accounts Receivable across LATAM markets, operating from Mexico on an outsourced/freelance basis. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing receivables, resolving payment issues, and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with LATAM clients.

This role requires native-level Spanish and strong English communication skills, with Portuguese as a plus, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones with our global finance teams in Israel, Canada (EST), and the US (EST).

Responsibilities
  • Monitor LATAM accounts and proactively manage collections of overdue balances.

  • Contact clients regularly by phone and email to follow up on open invoices.

  • Investigate billing history, payment discrepancies, and escalate issues as needed.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Sales Ops, Legal) to resolve disputes efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate AR records, customer contact logs, and aging reports.

  • Prepare and share weekly status updates on key accounts.

  • Escalate high-risk accounts to management and propose next-step actions.

  • Ensure alignment with regional finance regulations and tax considerations

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections, ideally in a regional or global B2B setting in the digital advertising industry.

  • Proven knowledge of LATAM payment behaviors, local invoicing/tax structures (e.g., facturación electrónica), and regional collection practices.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in Spanish (native/fluent) and English (fluent).

  • Portuguese fluency is an advantage (especially for Brazil).

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and Excel.

  • Highly organized, autonomous, and capable of handling multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable working independently, with flexibility to align with internal team schedules.

Work Environment
  • Remote outsourced role based in Mexico, with expected working hours aligned to LATAM business hours.

  • Must be available for collaboration with global teams in Israel (GMT+2), North America, and Canada (EST) as needed.

  • Occasional extended hours may be required during month-end or escalations.

  • Stable internet connection and work-from-home setup required.
