  • 8+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles within competitive markets.

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Drive revenue growth in large, complex accounts within the DISA/4th Estate Federal segment
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and develop a robust sales pipeline while expanding consumption in existing accounts
  • Lead and execute a strategic sales cycle, demonstrating the value of Confluent solutions to C-Level executives
  • Collaborate closely with partner ecosystem teams and Solutions Engineering on customer engagements
  • Build trusted relationships with customers to understand their strategies and business goals
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 8+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles within competitive markets
  • Proven track record in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions
  • Experience in leading complex sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Strong relationship-building, customer relations, and negotiation skills
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Previous sales methodology training (i.e., MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.)
  • Experience developing and improving processes and managing organizational change
  • Security clearance preferred
  • Demonstrated history of overachieving sales quotas
