A roofing sealant company is looking for a Commercial Roof Coating Sales Specialist to drive sales remotely. This role is commission-based with uncapped potential and requires significant self-management and entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in industrial sales, particularly in commercial construction, and the ability to build networks independently. Candidates will be responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing, and must demonstrate technical proficiency in advising clients on roofing solutions.

Formación

  • Minimum 3–5 years in industrial sales or commercial construction.
  • Ability to discuss roof surveys and technical specifications.
  • Established relationships with property managers, general contractors, etc.

  • Identify and qualify large-scale commercial opportunities.

Our company ships products nationwide and overseas, maintaining a comprehensive inventory to ensure timely delivery. EPDM Coatings Corp focuses on improving products based on customer feedback to deliver consistent quality and added value to roofs.

Role

Commercial Roof Coating Sales Specialist (REMOTE POSITION)

  • Compensation: 100% Commission-based with UNCAPPED potential. Our Structure typically follows the Percentage of Sales model (7–20% of the total contract value, depending on order size). As well as commission on all residuals.
  • Territory: Focused on high-value industrial and commercial zones.

This is not a traditional 9-to-5 role; it requires the drive of a business owner.

  • Market Pioneering: You will be responsible for building your own network and leading a pipeline from scratch, rather than relying on a corporate database.
  • Extreme Ownership: Beyond closing deals, you will manage the full lifecycle—prospecting, onsite inspections, proposal writing, and client "firefighting" as needed.
  • High-Energy Adaptability: You must be comfortable with shifting protocols and an evolving "startup-style" sales playbook while remaining authentic to the company’s story.
  • Self-Management: Requires a disciplined self-starter who can prioritize high-impact activities with minimal oversight.
Industry Experience Requirements
  • Construction/Industrial Background: Minimum 3–5+ years in industrial sales or commercial construction.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to discuss roof surveys, take precise measurements, and understand technical specifications of coating systems (e.g., silicone, acrylic, or urethane).
  • Network of Contacts: Established relationships with property managers, building owners, general contractors, or facility directors.
Core Responsibilities
  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and qualify large-scale commercial opportunities (10,000 to 100,000+ sq. ft.).
  • Technical Consulting: Act as a "trusted advisor" by identifying roof trouble spots and recommending our product line to extend roof life.
  • Relationship Management: Solid experience with computers and the ability to write up and discuss quotes with our customers.
  • Use of our internal CRM tools to track a complex, long-term sales cycle from initial cold call to final payment collection.
