Clinical Sales Specialist (Bronchoscopy), Mexico

As part of our expansion plan driven by rapid growth in the LATAM region and in Mexico, Ambu is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Sales Specialist to join our Mexico team to be based in Mexico City, reporting to the Business Development Manager (BDM) who is based in the same city. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between our products and healthcare professionals & hospitals. You will be responsible for educating customers on how to use Ambu products effectively, assisting them in realizing the clinical value of the products and driving product adoption and utilization—working alongside with our distributors and contributing to the growth & positioning of our innovative single‑use bronchoscopy solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical devices, proven experience in technical sales & clinical support and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and follow up with our distributors network and Ambu sales team to identify, select and develop new target accounts and to expand to new specialties within current accounts
  • Deliver clinical education, product training and hands‑on training on the proper use of Ambu bronchoscopes to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff – and to the distributors team when needed
  • Conduct field product demonstrations in both clinical and educational settings
  • Provide technical and clinical support on‑site during medical procedures
  • Train all converted accounts and help to expand the business within the assigned territory
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long‑term relationships by promoting the Ambu value proposition with key opinion leaders, specialists, and hospital decision‑makers
  • Promote the Ambu value story around single use versus reusable
  • Become a recognized expert in product / clinical technical competencies, clinical applications, and the competitive landscape
  • Identify clinical use opportunities and promote the adoption of single‑use technology in both public and private institutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support on strategic commercial initiatives
  • Collect product & clinical feedback and gather market intelligence
Suggested candidate profile
  • Skills and experiences can be earned in many ways, and we understand that the ideal profile for this role cannot always be defined on paper. However, you are likely to succeed in this position if you hold a degree in, for example: biomedical engineering, nursing, or respiratory therapy. What will truly set you apart is your sales & clinical experience in a commercial setting and your drive to excel in the role.
  • Several years of experience in a similar role (technical sales, clinical support and/or medical education)
  • Knowledge of the hospital environment, preferably in pulmonology, anesthesiology, intensive care, and/or urology
  • Familiarity with public tender processes (desired)
  • Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen
  • Takes initiatives and are proactive in your approach
  • Intermediate to advanced English (desired)
  • Availability to travel within the country – less than 25% of the time
  • Valid driver's license
