Liquidity Solutions & Account Services (LS&AS) provides advanced solutions for clients to manage and optimize their global operating liquidity. Our product set operates globally in real-time to support our most complex clients as they manage their liquidity across legal entities, geographies, currencies and time-zones.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
- Working closely with Latam Regional Liquidity, Local Country Product team and Sales to quantify, identify trends from Latin America clients holding deposits in all book locations and currencies.
- Understand global competitive environment across all client segments to contribute to develop a growth strategy to the entire LATAM Liquidity book.
- Work with data and metrics aimed to optimize the Liquidity P&L by identifying balance trends, portfolio diversification, enhance product penetration, improving profitability across all Liquidity products.
- Active contribution in measuring and tracking exception pricing process and Beta management.
- General understanding of Liquidity products, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Treasury concepts.
- Align closely with global product partners to ensure alignment with KPIs and overall strategy.
- Deposit Management:
- Contribute to drive product portfolio growth within the Region through providing data and recommendations to manage balances across client, segment levels in all currencies.
- Proactively measure and contribute to manage balances attrition, balances growth and spreads across all client segments and currencies.
- Produce and monitor daily and monthly reports of key performance indicators (KPI) to drive product P&L revenue target and identify growing opportunities and revenue trends.
- Understand interest rates environment, rate curves formation, economic trends impacting interest rates benchmarks.
- Understand different client business models to adapt Liquidity solutions and deposit strategy.
- General understand of Liquidity price formation and profitability, FTP, deposit costs (local and global), Legal Entity profitability, high level deposit capital costs impacts.
- Contribute to enhance/develop a commercialization strategy and value proposition for the Liquidity product suite based on specific portfolio and market trends.
- People Partnership:
- Work closely with the Americas hubs teams to align with KPI's, reporting and data sourcing.
- Work with functional partners to set a collaborative environment to meet business objectives and manage end-to-end controls.
- Close interaction with Latam Liquidity Product and Sales to provide portfolio analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in Transactional Services, Cash or Liquidity Management (minimum 5 years of experience).
- Strong data handling and analytical skills is a must (self-sufficient in gathering data, leveraging existing dashboards, formatting raw data in reports/graphs, to support decision making).
- Product Management expertise in Latin America Liquidity Services and across multiple geographies, is strongly preferred.
- Track record of strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Understanding and appreciation of the Liquidity regulatory and control environment.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese a significant differential.
- Strong financial, analytical and strategic skills.
- Collaborative attitude, with proven ability to work across global matrices.
- Market and product knowledge is an advantage.
