Formación

  • 5+ years of solid experience in the offshore sector, preferably with international companies.
  • Proven knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
  • Strong command of English (spoken, written, listening).

We're Hiring: Assistant Mooring Master / Chief Officer

At iPS Powerful People, we are looking for experienced
Assistant Mooring Masters (Chief Officers)
to join a strategic project in the offshore energy industry in Mexico.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Navigation & Watchkeeping
  • Act as Officer of the Watch, ensuring safe navigation and adherence to voyage plans.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
Cargo & Deck Operations
  • Plan and supervise loading, stowage, securing, and discharge of cargo.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of deck machinery and safety equipment.
Safety & Compliance
  • Implement and enforce ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and company safety procedures.
  • Conduct safety drills and inspections regularly.
Crew Management
  • Supervise deck crew, assign duties, and ensure training compliance.
  • Maintain discipline and promote a positive working environment.
Emergency Preparedness
  • Act as key officer during emergencies, assisting the Master in decision-making.
  • Ensure readiness of lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
