A leading global construction firm is seeking a Strategic & Tactical Supply Chain Development Leader in Saltillo, Coahuila. This role involves maximizing efficiency across Supply Chain processes globally and ensuring effective execution of strategies that boost value creation and EBITDA. Candidates should possess a strong engineering background, advanced English skills, and expertise in Supply Chain operations. Applicants should be self-motivated, analytical thinkers proficient in tools like Excel and have experience in Operations Research.

Formación

  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Strategic Planning is required.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into general business concepts.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven individual with numerical orientation.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate core capabilities to maximize EBITDA and efficiency in the Supply Chain.
  • Align supply chain processes globally for Network Design and Sales Planning.
  • Support teams in building and analyzing Network Design Models.

The Strategic & Tactical Supply Chain Development Leader is responsible for managing & developing 2 existing areas within Global Supply Chain (Network Design & Optimization, and Sales & Operation Planning). The Leader aims to ensure a correct and efficient execution of both supply chain capabilities globally, based on already defined global processes. This, with the scope of increasing value creation and EBITDA maximization for CEMEX.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate core capabilities to maximize EBITDA and efficiency in the Supply Chain globally
  • Align supply chain core processes globally: Network Design & Optimization, and Sales & Operations Planning
  • Design evolution strategy of core processes to increase performance in the Supply Chain globally
  • Support teams on building & analyzing Network Design Models, used to evaluate investment projects
  • Train new Network Designers globally
Position Challenges
  • Hold and retain staff in which investments in training have been made
  • Positively influence regional supply chainers to properly and efficiently execute supply chain capabilities to increase generating value for CEMEX
  • Discuss and debate feasibility of investment projects with Strategic Planning departments & regions
  • Full accountability on any process, result, or person within the team
Qualifications
  • Advanced English
  • Engineering background
  • Preferably Master’s degree
  • Areas of expertise: (4+ years) Supply Chain, Strategic Planning
  • Experience in Operations Research/Optimization Models
  • Strong presentation skills, public speaking, self-motivated, self-driven, analytical, critical thinking, numerical/mathematical oriented
  • Able to translate complex and highly specialized topics into general business concepts to efficiently communicate the strategy to the top management
  • Software: Excel (Advanced), Llamasoft (Desired), SQL (Desired), Python (Desired), JDA Strategist (Desired)
