A financial technology company is seeking a Business Operations & Strategy Manager to drive strategic initiatives and optimize performance. This role requires 3+ years of experience, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include analyzing business metrics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying growth opportunities. The position is 100% remote, and fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Formación

  • 3+ years of experience with strategy, management consulting, financial institutions, or start-up experience.

This position is 100 % remote, based in Mexico, and will report to the Regional Head of Business Operations & Strategy.

As the Business Operations & Strategy Manager you will…
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize the execution of strategic initiatives and drive value to the company
  • Conduct in‑depth analysis of our business, analyzing our OKRs, KPIs and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify areas for improvement
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve process / performance issues, define actionable and innovative improvement levers, and support with the implementation of recommendations
  • Optimize existing business lines and scope out new growth opportunities such as entering new markets
  • Be accountable for work streams from inception to execution and then to iteration
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
  • Analyze and optimize key business metrics to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency
Who You Are
  • 3+ years of experience with strategy, management consulting, financial institutions, or start‑up experience.
  • Exposure to payments and / or banking, or merchants preferred
  • Analytical problem‑solving skills and ability to structure analyses to form data‑driven solutions to ambiguous company challenges
  • Experience in strategic transformation and operations & process optimization
  • Experience decomposing and solving business problems, by building / using data tools such as advanced excel, SQL, Python, R, CRM (Dynamics) or other advanced tools
  • Ability to build trust‑based relationships with both junior and senior‑level executives
  • Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment to help our growing business
  • Fluent in Spanish and English required
