Una empresa líder en soluciones de movilidad busca un especialista en compras para unirse a su equipo en San Luis Potosí. Esta posición implica gestionar actividades de compras, coordinar proyectos y trabajar en la mejora continua de procesos. Se requiere un título universitario en Ingeniería o un campo relacionado, así como habilidades en gestión de proyectos y negociación técnica. Formación

  • Título universitario en Ingeniería, Ciencias o Negocios con especialización en compras.
  • Conocimiento de gestión de proyectos en la industria automotriz o plásticos.
  • Experiencia en gestión de proyectos y finanzas.

Responsabilidades

  • Responsable de todas las actividades de compras relacionadas con el programa (excluyendo CAPEX).
  • Colaborar con el comprador de commodities para las actividades de abastecimiento.
  • Gestionar el presupuesto de compras asignado para el proyecto.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all purchasing activities related to the program (excluding CAPEX).
  • Collaborate with the commodity buyer for sourcing activities.
  • Manage the purchasing budget (hours & money) allocated for the project, including managing purchase orders and payment schedules.
  • Handle non-event launches related to suppliers.
Sourcing Process
  • Establish the supplier shortlist for the project with commodity buyers, respecting purchasing policy.
  • Gather key information for complex RFQs, identify market constraints, targets, and schedule activities.
  • Negotiate based on quality, cost, and deadline targets; present sourcing recommendations to the Sourcing Board; draft and implement contracts.
Ordering and Payment
  • Manage purchase requests and orders related to the project.
  • Follow payment schedules to suppliers.
Coordination & Tracking
  • Identify project risks and opportunities, plan activities, coordinate internally and externally, and track progress to final realization.
  • Lead task forces for critical supplier issues and escalate as needed.
Supplier Quality & Non-Event Launch
  • Participate in Supplier APQP project planning and follow-up.
  • Support Supplier Engineers on major roadblocks.
  • Attend launch readiness reviews and track purchasing issues; implement Tier 2 readiness for non-event launches.
  • Organize project transfer to the commodity buyer.
Project Management
  • Define initial Statement of Work including team and budget details.
  • Lead the extended team activities.
  • Follow critical topics during milestones.
Budget Management
  • Validate initial provisional budgets against project scope and objectives.
  • Propose adjustments during the project as needed.
Continuous Improvements
  • Participate in process and organizational improvements.
  • Contribute to capitalization and productivity initiatives.
  • Provide feedback at project closure regarding best practices and challenges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business with purchasing specialization.
  • Knowledge of project management in automotive or plastics industry.
  • Technical negotiation skills and purchasing knowledge.
  • Experience in project management and finance & cash management.
