As a Applications Engineer Industrial Intern you will:

  • Develop applications - Conduct evaluations of new and existing products across different industrial segments, with the goal of generating valuable technical information to be used as a sales tool to ensure the company's continued market position and leadership.
  • Technical initiatives - Track and complete technical application requests submitted by the Industrial CI team and uploaded to SFDC regarding evaluations, validations, and physicochemical, microscopic, performance, and functionality determinations of the company's own ingredients as well as those of its competitors.
  • Knowledge Management - Organize, summarize, and report technical data generated from application testing, functionality test evaluations, and general experimentation through professional technical reports in virtual and in-person presentations for the industrial team's knowledge.
  • Knowledge of analytical equipment a nd methods - Care and proper use of analytical equipment used in industrial applications to maintain its optimal condition and safe handling. Detailed familiarization with each of the main analytical methods used in industrial applications, based on conditions, sampling, procedures, equipment, materials, and safety. Knowledge of databases related to analytical methods is also essential.
  • Safety and environmental management system - Adequately carry out activities to ensure a work environment that allows us to preserve the health of staff, the physical integrity of the facilities and environmental protection, complying with the safety system and environmental management system as applicable to the position and area of responsibility.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Biochemical, Industrial Engineering or related (last year student)
  • Intermediate to advanced English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office for data collection, data analysis, and professional reporting, along with a strong interest in creating presentations and managing information with multimedia content is a strong advantage.
