A leading technology company in Mexico is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join their QA team, focusing on the quality of software products for clients in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate should have experience with embedded systems and automotive communication protocols and be proficient in Python for automated testing. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, creating test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality. Formación

• Prior work with embedded or automotive systems, especially in multi-ECU scenarios.
• Hands-on experience testing In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems.
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Ability to analyze logs from ECUs and sensors for system behavior validation.
• Proven experience developing automated testing scripts in Python.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze business requirements and technical documents for testability.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases and test data based on requirements.
• Participate in defining the overall test strategy for features.
• Maintain clear communication with developers and product owners.

Conocimientos

Embedded or automotive systems experience

Testing In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems

Understanding of automotive communication protocols

Analyzing logs and signals from ECUs

Designing and executing integration tests

Python code development and debugging

Using Git and JFrog Artifactory

Technical documentation comprehension in English

Strong communication skills
