Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive meaningful change and lead automation initiatives in our organization.

The successful candidate will have expertise in processing payroll for multiple legal entities, ensuring compliance with union agreements, local labor laws, and applicable benefits. The role involves leading initiatives to improve and automate payroll processes, leveraging technology and innovative solutions.

This includes guaranteeing timely payments to government institutions and coordinating payments to external payroll vendors. Additional responsibilities include validating retirement calculations, resolving payroll discrepancies, and providing timely support to employees. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real impact in the finance department.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience processing payroll in Mexico, including unionized environments.
  • Strong understanding of labor and tax regulations, with the ability to interpret complex legal information.
  • Experience in month‑end closing, account reconciliations, and payroll integration.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and data processing tools.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with experience or interest in automation tools and digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, or other ERP systems for payroll management.
