We’ve built all of our technology in house including an EHR, patient care admin system, patient portal, website, marketing technology etc. Winona has two compounding pharmacies and a team of in house physicians providing world-class care via a fully vertically integrated business model.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team and help scale operations through reliable, well-documented automation. This role is focused on maintaining uptime of existing Make.com workflows, building new automations on demand, and ensuring data accuracy across connected systems.

The ideal candidate thrives in a remote-first environment, is highly detail-oriented, and takes initiative to proactively identify automation opportunities. This role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across functions.

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level

Responsibilities
  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Make.com workflows, including API integrations, JSON payloads, and webhooks.
  • Build and optimize Airtable bases (formulas, rollups, linked records, interface design).
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and security across connected platforms.
  • Document workflows and create clear guidelines for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions.
  • Monitor workflows, implement error handling, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual work through automation.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation, operations, or systems integration.
  • Advanced expertise in Make.com (Integromat) — workflow design, testing, troubleshooting.
  • Strong proficiency in Airtable (formulas, rollups, linked records, interface design).
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, authentication methods, JSON payloads, and webhooks.
  • Familiarity with Regex, basic JavaScript or Python.
  • Experience integrating tools such as HubSpot, Slack, ClickUp, Segment, Mixpanel.
  • Background in SaaS, digital marketing, consulting, or tech-forward startups.
  • Experience in marketing operations or business systems is a plus.
  • Strong data structuring, validation, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent English communication (written & spoken).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, async-first environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with teams during US business hours.
