A leading global verification company is seeking a Legal Professional located in Mexico, Veracruz, Xico. The role involves negotiating and reviewing various legal documents and providing support to business needs. Candidates should have a Juris Doctorate degree along with 3-6 years in commercial contracts, preferably within an international law firm. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. The position requires the ability to work autonomously and manage projects across time zones.

Formación

  • Minimum 3-6 years experience in a commercial contracts role.
  • Previous experience in a reputable international law firm or in-house commercial contracting.
  • Knowledge of personal data privacy law is helpful.

Overview : Role Summary

The role demands a high level of attention to detail and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

The individual should be able to work autonomously, but also enjoy working in a team environment and must show a high level of pro-activeness, drive, self-sufficiency, common business sense, self motivation, and thrive on the challenges that this role presents.

The role reports into HireRight's Deputy General Counsel Global Contracting.

The position may be located in India, Mexico, Malaysia or the United Kingdom.

Accountabilities
  • Negotiating, drafting and reviewing a range of legal documents including multi-jurisdictional terms of business, vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, data protection agreements, and licence and subscription agreements.
  • Answering general legal enquiries; relating to to client and / or supplier engagements and contracts.
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the business as and when required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Law (Juris Doctorate) and a Strong academic background with minimum 3-6 years experience in a commercial contracts role.
  • Previous experience gained within in a reputable international law firm and / or in an in-house role responsible for commercial contracting.
  • Ability to work with and coordinate inputs from various functions and stakeholders within the organization.
  • Experience in the background screening industry and / or other regulated industry ideal, but not required.
  • Knowledge of personal data privacy law and concepts is helpful.
  • International experience is a key requirement in particular effective management of work queues across numerous business lines and geographies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word.
  • Professional and commercial approach to problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills and team work ethic.
  • Ability to work autonomously with mínimal guidance or supervision.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate projects in different time zones.
