A leading manufacturing company in Monterrey is seeking a Financial Analyst to assist in financial statement preparation, monitoring budgets, and conducting variance analysis. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Additional certifications like CPA or CMA are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and its analysis
- Support the development and monitoring of plant budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and other departments to align financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and capital expenditure tracking.
- Assist in financial audits and implement process improvements based on findings.
- Maintain and enhance ERP and financial reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a financial or accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, cost accounting, and budgeting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- English Fluent
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
