Android Mobile Developer

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android mobile applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and well‑documented code following Android best practices.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness across devices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues and bugs.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging Android technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Work closely with distributed teams while aligning with Eastern Time working hours.

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• 3–8+ years of hands‑on experience in Android mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin for Android development.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern Android app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with performance optimization, memory management, and debugging tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones.
• Ability to work effectively during Eastern Time business hours.
