A global development company in Puebla seeks an Acoustic Measurement Engineer. The role involves calibrating sensors, securing parts for testing, programming equipment, and applying forces for rigidity analysis. The ideal candidate holds a degree in automotive or mechanical engineering and has 1-2 years of automotive industry experience. Fluency in English is essential for this position.

Formación

  • 1-2 years of experience inside the automotive industry.
  • Experience with instrumentation and calibration of test benches.

Responsabilidades

  • Ensure sensors and equipment are calibrated before tests.
  • Secure parts to be measured on test benches.
  • Program the equipment for required measurements.
  • Apply forces to determine rigidity based on measurement.
  • Assemble and technically update physical benches.

ACOUSTIC MEASUREMENT ENGINEER

DESCRIPTION
  • Ensure that the sensors and equipment to be used are calibrated before performing any tests.
  • Secure the parts or bodies to be measured on the test benches, respecting rigidity and safety standards.
  • Mark the points where the forces will be applied and place the force or displacement sensors required for the measurement according to the requirements of the standard or the applicant.
  • Program the equipment according to the required measurement (instrumentation amplifiers, data acquisition equipment, and control equipment).
  • Apply the forces required to determine rigidity, depending on the measurement.
  • De‑instrument and disassemble the test bench at the end of the measurement.
  • Assemble and/or technically update physical benches according to the assigned test.
  • 1 year contract.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive design engineering, Industrial engineering, Mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 1‑2 years of experience inside the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of static vehicle/parts testing.
  • Experience with instrumentation and calibration of test benches.
  • Fluent English (must be able to have a conversation).
