We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with 4-5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and evolving cloud-native solutions. You will help drive the Technogym ecosystem, which includes gym equipment, mobile and web applications, and third-party integrations.

You’ll use best practices in software development to deliver scalable, highly available, and secure cloud services.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using C# (.NET) and Node.js
• Architect and manage cloud-native services, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and security to streamline delivery pipelines and ensure security and compliance
• Handle incidents, improve alerting systems, and maintain service uptime, collaborating with the infrastructure team
• Leverage AI tools to review, debug, and optimize code

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. You are able to work in an agile environment, providing teamwork that will always be recognized and appreciated.

What you should bring:

• 4-5 years of professional experience in cloud-native backend development
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data-intensive architectures, and scalability principles
• Experience with Lean and Continuous Delivery methodologies
• Proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects
• Excellent debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP

Preferred qualifications:

• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures, asynchronous and real‑time data pipelines
• Experience tracking project outcomes via OKRs or KPIs, with a focus on continuous delivery and operational excellence
• Experience with AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Codeio, Cursor or similar
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
