Overview

Production Operator I role at Opta Group. The Production Technician Associate will report directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift; packaging 10 - 50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to pallet as well as filling 3000 lb. super sacks.
• Cleaning of the warehouse as required.
• Daily maintenance of equipment.
• Call specialists when more serious problems occur.
• Tracks various data associated with production equipment.
• Reports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures.
• Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

• Previous forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience in a production / manufacturing setting.
• Capable of working in a team and independently.
• Capable of following a production report while working independently.
