Job Description

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical components within the manufacturing facility. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required and identify further equipment reliability improvements. Participate in diagnosing production, quality, and safety issues in the area of responsibility and implement corrective actions as needed.

MAJOR DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing process electrical components at the level of either trained Electrician or E&I Technician.
2. Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing process mechanical components.
3. Fill out job reports, calibration reports, and checklists in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Work with all personnel and outside contractors to keep equipment operational and complete projects.
5. Fabricate and modify machinery components as directed.
6. Install machinery and equipment associated with manufacturing, facility, and plant systems.
7. Communicate schedule conflicts or machine breakdowns immediately to Supervisor.
8. Report schedule conflicts or machine breakdowns to affected areas and across the organization to promote good communication.
9. Assist in developing and adjusting the PM schedule to the operational level of the plant.
10. Experience with TIG welding, MIG welding, Stick welding, Cutting, and Torching.
