Job summary
A leading consulting firm is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to strategically manage commodities for a top industrial manufacturer. The role entails developing global sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, and enhancing supplier performance. Candidates should have procurement experience, a relevant degree, and strong analytical skills. The position offers remote working and requires up to 50% travel.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Supply Management, Materials Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
- Fluent knowledge of English and a second language.
- Experience developing and implementing global sourcing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for strategic management of assigned commodities/spend categories.
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of sourcing & procurement projects.
