We are looking for a motivated Workshop Engineer with the potential to grow into a Workshop Team Leader role, depending on seniority and expertise.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, hands‑on experience in workshop operations, and expertise in dual‑fuel and gas engines, as well as fuel injection systems.

The location for this position is in Genoa, Italy.

Your role and responsibilities
As a Workshop Mechanical Engineer, you will focus on these responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical maintenance, overhauling, and repairs on dual‑fuel and gas engines.
  • Work with dual‑fuel and common rail injection systems ensuring high‑quality standards and operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to engine components and systems.
  • Operate and maintain workshop tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop processes.
  • (For Team Leader role) Lead and supervise the workshop team, ensuring efficient workflow and team development.
Requirements for the position
  • Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or a related field.
  • Proven mechanical experience in a workshop environment is a must.
  • Expertise in dual‑fuel and gas engines, as well as dual‑fuel and common rail injection systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of engine systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
  • Leadership skills and experience in team management (for Team Leader role).
