Overview

Wholesale Sales Manager Italy (Milan) - Based in Milan with a strong local network in the wholesale scene. We are seeking a professional with 3–5 years of experience in a similar role to strengthen our team and broaden our footprint in the Italian market. Muuto pursues enduring aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship and bold creative thinking to deliver new perspectives on Scandinavian design.

At Muuto, you will work with the Regional Sales Manager and adjacent teams to achieve growth in the Italian market, including selling in and implementing in-store solutions and novelties, and supporting Milano showroom activities and events.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow the existing Italian wholesale market to reach sales targets defined with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Structured development and maintenance of wholesale customer and dealer networks
  • Acquisition of new dealers following the plan agreed with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Leverage network connections to maximize network effects in sales
  • Sell-in and implementation of in-store solutions, as well as product novelties
  • Collaborate with internal teams and sales colleagues to achieve overall growth objectives
  • Support in the management of Milano showroom, maintenance tasks and event participation
Your profile
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Sales or Key Account Manager, ideally in the Italian retail furniture market (or related architecture / design roles)
  • Extensive experience with the Retail design sector and a well-established, professional dealer network in Italy
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or similar preferred
  • Ability to act independently, self-driven and results-oriented
  • Mature, credible, and comfortable presenting at professional levels
  • Strong acquisition, negotiating and closing skills with effective time management
  • Fluent Italian and professional level of English (verbal and written)
  • Willingness for frequent business travels within Italy and occasional international trips
  • Driver’s license
