The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical or Technical Engineering and experience in the Metalworking sector. Responsibilities include providing training, visiting clients, and managing a team of engineers. The position offers a competitive salary, home office setup, and requires frequent travel throughout northern Italy.

Technical Service Manager

Role and Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to customers.
• Providing technical training to team and customers.
• Visiting clients and prospects together with Sales Engineer/Sales Manager.
• Identifying new growth opportunities in the business area and providing the technical support to acquire these.
• Initiating and supporting new product launches.
• Providing feedback on product performance to Headquarters and having an important role in the development of new products.
• Taking a leading role in “Technical” driven activities.
• Interpreting and communicating laboratory results.
• Managing a small team of TS-engineers and the Laboratory.
• Member of the Engineering management team.

Knowledge and Experience

• Degree in Chemical or Technical Engineering.
• Manufacturing process or production experience, ideally gained in an organization involved in Metal Working.
• Understanding of actual Environmental, Health and Safety legislations and its impact.
• Proven track record of achievements.
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional language skills are considered a plus.
• Current network in Metalworking fluids / industrial cleaners.
