A leading industrial company in Milan is seeking a System HSE Engineer to develop and maintain HSE Management systems. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements, conducting risk assessments, and delivering training programs. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a similar role and relevant professional certifications. This is a full-time position with opportunities to travel.

Competenze

• 5 or more years of experience in a similar role required.
• Experience in Construction HSE is considered a plus.
• Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).

Overview

The System HSE Engineer develops and maintains HSE Management system implementing methods and tools, consistent with legal and corporate requirements. Assume Assistant Safety Officer roles within HSE Department according to Italian regulation, supporting the Manager in drafting relevant documentation ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain HSE Management System procedures in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant regulations
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety inspections to identify hazards and implement control measures
• Support in reviewing and revising HSE plans drafted for Projects
• Prepare and deliver HSE-related training programs and workshops
• Monitor HSE performance metrics and prepare detailed reports
• Plan and execute HSE audits during Design, Construction, and Start-up phases
• Support Safety Officer and Department in compliance activities
• Stay updated with relevant international standards, national and international legal requirements, and industrial best practices

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in a similar role is required
• Experience in Construction HSE is considered a plus
• Sectors: Oil and Gas, Power and Energy, Fertilizers, Polymers Industries
• Education: Scientific-related Degree or Engineering Degree
• Availability to travel
• Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audit certification
• Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
