Your work will contribute directly to Europe’s most exciting space programmes, from Earth observation and climate monitoring to satellite navigation and space safety. You will play a vital role in ensuring mission success and driving innovation in orbit.

Your Mission

You will orchestrate cloud‑native applications across modern infrastructure, spinning up virtual machines, containers, and databases on IaaS, CaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms. You will design and deploy monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and automate routine tasks. You will uphold security and compliance, automate backups, and respond to alerts. You will hunt down performance bottlenecks, support capacity planning, and collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to shape solutions.

What You Bring to the Mission

Core Cloud Experience – Comfortable with cloud infrastructures; hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix environments and Python, Bash scripting.

Monitoring and Automation – Deployed, configured, and maintained monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitLab.

Container & DevOps – Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher knowledge. Agile and DevOps principles guiding collaboration.

Language & Communication – English at B2 level, clear written and oral communication.

On‑call & 24/7 Uptime – Experience in 24/7 environments with on‑call rotations.

Bonus Skills – Elastic Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, JIRA, technical procedure writing, Earth Observation satellite data, Copernicus, Destination Earth (DestinE). Critical thinking, self‑organisation.

Qualifications – Secondary school diploma minimum. Two years of proven experience administering cloud systems. Familiarity with Earth Observation data and Sentinel missions. Knowledge of satellite data formats and API‑based services. Comfort with Linux environments.
