Mode Search is partnering with a historic Italian luxury beauty and fragrance house to hire a Store Manager for their boutique in Milan.

This iconic brand is celebrated for its artisanal expertise in skincare, fragrances, body, and hair care. With a prestigious heritage and a leadership team drawn from top luxury fashion houses, the company blends tradition with modern luxury sensibilities. Their boutiques are renowned for delivering exceptional client experiences and offering a curated range of high-quality products.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated retail leader to take ownership of a boutique, leading a passionate team, elevating client experiences, and driving performance in a highly visible, fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the store team to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Analyse store performance and implement development plans.

Act as a brand ambassador locally, attracting new clients and building loyalty.

Drive omnichannel awareness and encourage the team to leverage digital tools.

Ensure the client is at the centre of every interaction.

Reinforce exceptional after‑sales service and implement the signature selling approach.

Collaborate with corporate departments to execute client engagement programs and events.

Proactively identify opportunities to acquire new clients and increase sales.

Foster a constructive and high‑performing team environment.

Mentor, coach, and develop staff, identifying internal growth opportunities.

Conduct briefings and ensure the team is aligned with sales strategies, product knowledge, and company standards.

Hire and retain top talent in the local market.

Ensure impeccable presentation and merchandising standards.

Maintain operational excellence in stock management, cash handling, logistics, and reporting.

Collaborate with visual merchandising and retail teams for in‑store events and displays.

Requirements

Proven retail management experience, preferably in luxury beauty, fragrances, or fashion.

Fluency in English and Italian.

Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced boutique environment.

Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and client journey processes.

At least 5 years of management experience; luxury retail or beauty background preferred.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
