A leading IT services provider in Italy is seeking an experienced Storage Administrator to handle complex storage management tasks. The successful candidate will manage IBM storage infrastructure, perform troubleshooting, and ensure optimal SAN performance. Expertise in NetApp technology and familiarity with Brocade and Cisco SAN switches are mandatory. This role requires 5-6 years of experience in storage administration, as well as the capability to provide support for technical issues and prepare relevant documentation.

Competenze

• 5-6 years of experience as a Storage Administrator.
• Depth experience in NetApp NAS, SAN, and E-Series.
• Good knowledge of storage performance troubleshooting.

Mansioni

• Provide level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting support.
• Manage IBM storage infrastructure and setup provisioning tasks.
• Perform root cause analysis of critical issues.

Job description

Position Title Storage Administrator

Experience 5 to 6 Yrs

Skills

NetApp OnTap C mode and 7 mode

Brocade and Cisco San Switch

Zoning and troubleshot SAN connectivity performance issues

LUN mapping and Masking

Performance Capture from Storage Side

Replication using Snap mirrorSnap vault

Storage Monitoring

Good knowledge syslog configuration and monitor

LUN management

Depth experience in NetApp NAS NFS CIFS

Good knowledge FC ISCSI protocol

Job Description

Can doprovide support as well as resolution for level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting

Performing zoning eg Creation of Alias Zones and its management firmware up gradation troubleshooting on Brocade and Cisco SAN switch

Aggregate Volume setup provisioning tasks such as thin provisioning enabling compression deduplication snapshot retention snap clone etc

Managing IBM storage infrastructure Experience on IBM Storage devices IBM System Storage LUN Binding Host group etc

Depth experience in NetApp NAS SAN ESERIES

ONTAP monitoring using OnCommand Unified managerSystem ManagerLog file analysis etc

Should be able to do Performance related troubleshooting

Root cause analysis of critical issues tickets

Storage Fabric OS firmware Upgrade

Should be able to do Troubleshoot of Software configuration Issues Shelf Disk cf ic etc

Worked on ITSM tools like Service Now

Experience in preparing the Technical Documents on relevant topics

Can doprovide support as well as resolution for level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting
