Job Description

As a Steam Turbine and axial expander Flow Path Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design of new flow‑path components from concept to detail: conducting trade‑off analyses, generating 3‑D models and performing basic mechanical and performance analysis of selected solutions.
  • Leading the mechanical integrity and performance assessment of existing and new flow‑path components: analyzing functionality, life and performance of turbine components.
  • Leading the flow‑path design of non‑standard customer projects.
  • Performing FEM and CFD assessment of existing and new flow‑path components.
  • Executing design, analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to company standards.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with turbomachinery components.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Willingness to acquire new technical knowledge and stay current with emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency with 2‑D/3‑D CAD and finite element analysis tools.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
