This position requires a U.S. Citizen who currently possesses and maintains an active Secret security clearance. After starting, the selected candidate must obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or equivalent clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
You will work with a cross‑functional team of hardware, software, and FPGA engineers in our dedicated product development lab. Your day might include architecting new hardware solutions, reviewing PCB designs, collaborating with contract manufacturers, debugging prototypes, or mentoring team members. You'll partner closely with product managers to define requirements, work with FPGA engineers to optimize hardware interfaces, and engage with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production ramp‑up.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
