A leading IT consulting firm is seeking a DBA & System Engineer to manage and evolve its Group IT Infrastructure and Database setup. In this role based in Milan or Roma, you will oversee SQL Server and MySQL environments, perform database management tasks, and contribute to global IT strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in database tuning and security configurations, and must be proficient in English and Italian. This is a full-time position at the mid-senior level.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and system engineering.
• Deep knowledge of database management, tuning, troubleshooting, and security configurations.
• Familiarity with enterprise database infrastructure.

• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL Server infrastructure.
• Perform comprehensive database management tasks including tuning and performance analysis.
• Contribute to global IT strategy focusing on technical architecture.

⚡ Then what

We are in search of a DBA & System Engineer to manage, evolve, and monetize an entire Group IT Infrastructure and Database setup. Hybrid in Milano or Roma.

Database & System Management:

• Manage and troubleshoot the enterprise Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure, MySQL Server infrastructure, along with other DBMS like Oracle and MongoDB.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows/Linux Server environments.
• Perform comprehensive database management tasks: tuning, troubleshooting, performance analysis, security configuration, and DDL/DML operations.
• Manage database backup, restore, import/export operations, and utilize MS SQL Server Reporting/Integration/Analysis Services, and Power BI.
• Actively contribute to the global IT Strategy, focusing on technical architecture and application solutions for defined strategic programs.

Governance & Security:

• Ensure the development, implementation, and updating of all IT policies and procedures based on Group policies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server & MySQL architecture.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Excellent skills in Database management, tuning, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and security configurations.
• English and Italian
