The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience in project management, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and strong problem-solving skills. Sky Data – Junior Project Manager

As a Junior Project Manager you will lead projects for Sky Data at Sky Italia.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate data & analytics projects ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
• Manage the project lifecycle from the concept, feasibility to the final deployment and adoption, including benefits/performance monitoring phases, tracking progress and key milestones.
• Collaborate with Business units and Data & Tech teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Support the application of Data Governance best practices during the project planning and execution.
• Define, assess and monitor plan, risks, issues, dependencies, escalating when necessary.
• Prepare and monitor projects’ budget, tracking costs and reporting variances to keep projects on target.

Skills / Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in Project Management or Business Partner, preferably in Data or Digital environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding data concepts (Data Warehousing, Big Data platforms) is preferable.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Experience in project financial management (budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis).
• Basic knowledge of data security and compliance.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Team‑oriented with a hands‑on mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
