The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of procurement experience in the oil and gas industry, along with strong negotiation skills and proficiency in SAP and Ariba systems. This role promises significant responsibility and engagement with international vendors.

We offer an exceptional opportunity for a Services and Subcontracts Buyer to perform activities related to purchasing goods, services, and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with cost, time, quality requirements, and corporate standards.

This position is for the Mozambique LNG Project, based in Italy and UAE.

Key Responsibilities :

• Issue requests for quotations to vendors based on purchase requests.
• Support vendors during technical and commercial proposal preparation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Prepare bid tabulations to compare proposals and recommend actions to optimize results or select vendors.
• Lead negotiations on commercial and economic terms.
• Prepare purchase or subcontract documents according to standard and project-specific terms, managing deviations as needed.
• Close the bid process by confirming purchases/subcontracts with selected vendors and notifying unsuccessful vendors.
• Follow up and negotiate revisions to purchase orders or subcontracts if necessary.
• Ensure activities comply with procedures, systems, and tools.
• Review and comment on technical documentation received with purchase requisitions and evaluations.
• Manage contractual documentation and archive appropriately before centralization.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements :

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or buying for services and subcontracts within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
• Familiarity with SAP and Ariba systems.
• Knowledge of PTK007.
• Experience with offshore project procurement is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Solid project management skills, including activity coordination, progress monitoring, and alignment with project goals.
