Overview

Join Obton Italy as a Senior Project Developer – Solar PV based in Rome. This full‑time role offers flexibility and travel opportunities.

The Role

You will identify, evaluate, and develop solar PV projects, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new solar PV opportunities
• Perform site assessments and feasibility analyses
• Manage project planning, budgeting, and timelines
• Oversee permitting and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with stakeholders (consultants, authorities, landowners, partners)
• Monitor project progress and ensure quality standards
• Support the execution of investment plans

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project development within renewable energy (solar PV preferred)
• Strong project management, planning, and budgeting skills
• Experience with site assessment and permitting processes
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid and international environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
