Senior MEP Project Manager – Data Centre Construction

Location: Milan

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to join our team in Milan, specializing in data centre construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all MEP design and construction activities, aligning with project objectives and client requirements.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to achieve timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to maintain project integrity.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards for data centre construction.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of MEP systems to guarantee optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, including progress updates and financial forecasts, to senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive best practices for sustainable, energy‑efficient design and construction in all projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP project management, focusing on data centre construction.
• Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, data centre infrastructure, energy efficiency strategies, and high‑voltage electrical substations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Strong understanding of Spanish building codes and regulations related to data centre construction.
• Excellent budget management, risk assessment, and problem‑solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel to the construction site on 4 days a week.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
