About this vacancy

Your role will focus on executing electrical design activities, including drafting schematics, compiling wiring and connector tables, and managing project data, ensuring compliance with technical regulations, company standards, and applicable railway norms. You will work closely with senior engineers, production teams, and suppliers, providing essential support throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept phase to production and validation.

You will be responsible for

• Generating wiring and connector tables: delivering accurate wire lists, cable sheets, connector tables, and terminal layouts according to project and production requirements. Verifying that all information complies with design and assembly standards.
• Supporting documentation control and PLM activities: uploading, reviewing, and approving electrical documentation in the Product Lifecycle Management system (e.g., PTC Windchill). Maintaining revision traceability and alignment with the latest project baselines.

What we expect from you

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience in railway electrical design or other safety-critical industries.
• Excellent proficiency in EPLAN, Zuken E³ or IGE-XAO SEE Electrical.
• Knowledge of railway electrical standards (EN 50155, EN 50121, EN 50124).
• Experience in defining electrical architecture and managing requirements.
• Familiarity with PLM systems (preferably PTC Windchill).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary context.
• Native Italian speaker, with good proficiency in English (spoken and written).
