Competenze

• Minimum 6/7 years of experience in structured corporate environments.
• Solid experience in project accounting or cost tracking by project.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting regulations and international standards (IFRS).

• Manage and oversee general accounting operations, including journal entries and month-end/year-end closings.

For our client, important Academy in Rome, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting and Reporting Expert to join the finance team in Italy. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise.

This role requires fluency in English, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a multinational environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee general accounting operations, including journal entries, and month-end/year-end closings.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, providing insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS standards and internal financial policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, Project Managers) to ensure accurate allocation of costs.
• Participate in the preparation of management reports and support internal and external audits.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to financial control enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6/7 years of experience in structured corporate environments.
• Solid experience in project accounting, or cost tracking by project.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting regulations and international standards (IFRS).
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, Sage is a plus.
