A global leader in ophthalmic devices is seeking a Sales Support Officer based in Milan. The ideal candidate will assist the sales force and customers, prepare tenders, and manage contracts. Responsibilities include providing product information and supporting the team with CRM compliance. A minimum of 3-5 years in customer support and fluency in Italian and English are required. This role offers a good work-life balance and a pleasant work environment.

Description :

Do you have experience in preparing tenders? And are you good at working together with for example our Customer Service Center, the financial departments and our head office in the Netherlands? Then please read on to the position of Sales Support Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Execute regional sales support;
  • Provide product information to customers and distributors by interacting with CSC : BO status, logistic, offers offers;
  • Support the team in CRM compliance, accuracy and to provide reports as required;
  • Responsible of tenders preparation togheter with tender agency;
  • Support the team with Power BI and create reports as required;
  • Management of contracts (direct and via CPP);
  • Create and support price requests;
  • Claim aged invoices / overdues;
  • Management of folders within MS TEAMS with continuous improvement of documentation management;
  • Inside sales as required and support of all local sales activities;
  • Management to ensure compliance of service contracts;
  • Management to ensure compliance of EVA contracts;
  • Provide information for annual Budget and weekly forecasts;
  • Management of price requests in co-operation with Customer Service;
  • Report sales data / product usage as requested by customer accounts;
  • Support the sales team with their daily duties and assist in the organisation of trials and management of sample stock;
  • Complaint management;
  • Support TATs updating demos / service contracts / upgrade in our Tracker.
Skills, know-how and experience
  • Customer focused and a teamplayer;
  • Self-starter with the ability to develop and drive initiatives cross company;
  • Knowledge of public tender process;
  • Can interact and co-operate with all members & levels of the D.O.R.C. organization;
  • IT skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook;
  • Experience in Sales Support or Customer Service and pricing management;
  • Hands-on experience with CRM;
  • Financial knowledge : to follow and collect debts;
  • 3-5 years commercial experience in customer or sales support;
  • Relevant education in related fields, such as : sales, business management or customer support;
  • Fluent in Italian and English in word and writing.
