YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT

As our first Sales Manager (f / m / d) for the Italian market you turn Italy into Plancraft’s next growth engine by converting high‑quality inbound and outbound leads into enthusiastic, long‑term customers and by shaping a scalable, localized sales motion that truly resonates with Italian trades professionals. You collaborate closely with the BDM Italy Expansion Lead and the future Country Lead to refine messaging, sharpen the demo experience, and build the commercial foundations that power Plancraft’s expansion across one of our most strategic markets.

Your Responsibilities
  • Convert leads into paying customers through excellent qualification, tailored demos, and consistent follow‑up.
  • Own customers in full lifecycle in the absence of dedicated CS capacities, including onboarding and activation support for new customers to avoid early churn and ensure customer value is created.
  • Execute daily sales activities with high quality, maintaining strong CRM hygiene and transparent documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the BDM Italy on localization customer communication and structured feedback loops.
  • Provide weekly reporting on lead flow performance metrics and customer insights.
  • Support outbound experiments (e.g., targeted outreach event‑based campaigns) and share learnings with HQ and the local team.
  • Contribute to optimizing the sales process, improving structure and efficiency alongside the Expansion Lead and BDM.
  • Help prepare and refine the sales playbook and market learnings ahead of the Country Lead’s onboarding.
YOUR PROFILE
Must‑haves
  • Italian at C2 level and English at minimum C1 level.
  • 2 years experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in the SMB segment.
  • Strong track record in closing deals and managing a structured pipeline.
  • Solid CRM experience (HubSpot preferred).
  • A self‑starter entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership, structure, and reliability.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑changing environments.
  • Based in or near Milan with openness to work weekly from our so‑to‑open local Milan coworking hub.
Nice‑to‑haves
  • Experience selling SaaS into the construction or skilled trades sector.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with outbound prospecting and creative lead generation.
  • Experience working in startups or early‑market environments.
