We are looking for a

A 149-year-old family-owned German company, headquartered in Germany, an expert in applying various special alloys for a wide variety of manufacturing industries, specialized in producing highly wear- and corrosion resistant precision metal parts for various industries and applications. Operating globally with nine locations distributing products on a worldwide scale.

Main products are among the Plate TechnologyandExtruder Technologydivisions. Customers of these two business divisions come from diverse industries, including the packaging, foundry, electronics, plastics and chemical industries as well as the food and ceramics sectors. Products are distributed to over 50 countries around the world, the main markets being Europe, America and Asia.

For our business unit dealing with high quality wear parts for co-rotating twin screw extruders we are looking for a highly motivated and independent Sales Manager (m/f/d) based in Italy (preferably in the Milano area).

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and expand sales of wear parts for co-rotating twin screw extruders
  • Develop new business opportunities and actively acquire new customers
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
  • Conduct regular market analysis and identify new market potential
  • Prepare sales reports and updates for the headquarters in Germany
  • Collaborate closely with the European sales team and the technical team
Requirements
  • Proven experience in industrial / technical sales; experience in plastics processing or extruder technology is a strong plus
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). German would be an advantage
  • Confident use of ERP systems and MS-Office applications
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-orientation skills
  • High-degree of independence combined with a hands‑on, solution-oriented approach
  • Willing to travel extensively in Italy
