A leading automation machinery manufacturer in Italy is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage sales activities and develop a business plan for sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in automation or motion control. The role requires strong communication skills and a willingness to travel frequently. Applicants should hold a B.Sc. degree in Engineering and have knowledge of servo systems. This is a full-time position.

Competenze

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Technical Sales, preferably in automation or motion control.
  • Strong understanding of servo and automation systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Mansioni

  • Responsible for regional sales in Italy.
  • Develop and deploy a regional business plan for growth.
  • Maintain and visit existing and prospective customers.
  • Use CRM for documenting sales activity.
  • Handle incoming sales leads and follow up on quotes.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for regional sales activities in Italy.
  • Develop and deploy a regional business plan that details new business opportunities and sustainable growth.
  • Maintain, contact and visit regularly existing and prospective customers.
  • CRM Way of Life – use the CRM to document all sales customer activity.
  • Handle all incoming regional sales leads.
  • Follow up on quotes and orders in the region.
  • Maintain Elmo’s customer database and use tools for effective report generation on present and future sales opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Technical Sales, preferably in automation or motion control industries.
  • B.Sc. degree in Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of servo and automation systems.
  • Relevant knowledge in Automation / Servo Motors / Servo Drives & Controls, Mechatronics / Software / Quality / Environmental Conditions.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, technical and commercial.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%.
