A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking a new graduate for the role of Propulsion System Coordinator. This position involves serving as the single point of contact between the Propulsion System and CVEs, managing development timing and KPIs for integration components. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Engineering and have strong English communication skills. The role provides opportunities for proactive interaction across teams and supports the vehicle production process, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

Overview

Description of Function relative to PSDP Process : The Propulsion SSTM is the single contact point between Propulsion System and CVEs (Advanced Vehicle / Platform & Modules / Top Hat). It is accountable for Development Timing & KPI for Integration Components, Propulsion Systems, SW & Calibration. It keeps the Vehicle updated on PRS issues and communicates Vehicle issues and needs to PRS. It understands issues, drives priorities inside PRS, and escalates PRS needs to the Vehicle Team. SSTMs provide timely proactive and transparent communication between PRS and Vehicle Teams in both directions. It coordinates the Propulsion System team during Bulletin studies phase, interacting with Planning and VEMO teams, and ensures communication between the Propulsion System team and Platforms / Top Hats CVE Teams. For Programs with an assigned System Chief, the SSTM is part of the System Table, supporting the complete development of the systems consistently with the QCTP targets, addressing needs, concerns and expectations with the Vehicle Team. For Programs without an assigned System Chief, where the Engine Chief acts as System Chief, the SSTM additionally covers Timing & Cost at system level, working with Sub-System leads (according to ref. RASI). It monitors application plans (hardware) and alignment with development timing. It tracks all vehicle KPI during project development. It coordinates the Propulsion System team to meet BOM and changes management process requirements. It oversees remotely in vehicle plant build stages and the start of production, supported by the appropriate on-site Launch Support resources. It provides significant support in overseeing availability / representativeness of the test objects approved in CAPEX.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the Vehicle informed of PRS issues and communicate Vehicle issues and needs to PRS.
  • Understand issues, drive PRS priorities, and escalate PRS needs to the Vehicle Team.
  • Provide timely, proactive, and transparent communication between PRS and Vehicle Teams in both directions.
  • Coordinate the Propulsion System team during Bulletin studies phase, interacting with Planning and VEMO teams.
  • Ensure communication between the Propulsion System team and Platforms / Top Hats CVE Teams.
  • For Programs with a System Chief, support the complete development of systems in line with QCTP targets, addressing needs and expectations with the Vehicle Team.
  • For Programs without a System Chief where the Engine Chief acts as System Chief, cover Timing & Cost at system level, working with Sub-System leads (per ref. RASI).

  • Master of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, Applied Physics, or related Engineering field) from an accredited University.
