Responsibilities
- Lead the origination, structuring, and financing of solar PV and battery storage projects, actively screening various investment and financing opportunities across the EMEA region.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, legal, risk, and technical departments, to negotiate and optimize financing structures, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Serve as a key liaison with lenders, investors, and other critical stakeholders to negotiate terms and resolve issues, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Support the financial due diligence process, overseeing financial modelling, and ensuring that all financial projections are aligned with business needs and market trends.
- Conduct comprehensive risk analysis in the structuring of loans, equity investments, and guarantees, identifying potential risks and providing strategic recommendations.
- Monitor and manage the post-transaction performance of closed deals, ensuring that financial metrics and operational outcomes are met and identifying opportunities for value optimization.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing key financial insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasting, and strategic planning, ensuring that financial goals are aligned with the overall corporate strategy.
- Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners, contributing to a culture of teamwork, transparency, and effective communication.
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project & Structured Finance (P&SF), preferably in the renewable energy, infrastructure, utility, banking, or investment fund sectors. Experience managing cross-functional teams and interacting with diverse stakeholders is essential.
- Proven track record in structuring and closing complex financing deals within the renewable energy or infrastructure space.
- Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.
Education / Training
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Law, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- MBA or equivalent advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex financial structures and market trends.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in coordinating teams, driving projects forward, and managing stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact confidently with senior management, lenders, investors, and external partners.
- In-depth understanding of the renewable energy sector, particularly solar PV and battery storage projects, including financial and regulatory frameworks.
- Highly organized and proactive, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to adapt financial strategies to meet the evolving needs of the business and the energy market.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial modelling tools is required.

- Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in other European languages (such as Italian, German, or French) will be considered an advantage.
