RINA is currently recruiting for a Principal CSP - Construction Safety Engineer to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division.

Mission

The role is focuses on ensuring integration of health and safety requirements in compliance with Legislative Decree 81/08, supporting the development of technical documents, project schedules, and cost estimates.

Key Accountabilities
  • Prepare the Safety and Coordination Plan (PSC).
  • Develop and update the Safety File.
  • Implement prevention and protection principles in the design phase.
  • Analyse interference risks and propose technical/organizational solutions.
  • Collaborate with designers, clients, and technical stakeholders.
  • Verify and estimate safety costs.
  • Produce technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
  • Support tender and procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Produce 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Create/update project schedules using Project, Primavera, Primus-K.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates using Primus DCF.
Education

Master’s Degree in Construction and Environment or Civil Engineering

Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil, Building, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Certification as Safety Coordinator under Legislative Decree 81/08.
  • 5+ years experience in civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08 and health & safety regulations.
  • Experience with PSC, Safety File, and safety cost estimation.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Project, Primavera, Primus-K, Primus DCF.
  • Teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Communication with technical stakeholders.
