A leading technology company is seeking a Partner Technical Manager in Milan, Lombardy. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in enterprise software sales and strong communication skills to effectively engage with partners. Responsibilities include leading technical enablement, driving excitement for new solutions, and supporting partner success. Fluency in Italian and English is essential. Competenze

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or partner management.
  • First hands-on experience in Security and/or Observability is ideal.

Join to apply for the Partner Technical Manager, Italy Splunk role at Cisco. Location: Milan, Lombardy, Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Enablement & Business Planning: Lead technical enablement for assigned partners, crafting and executing a Technical Account Plan that aligns with partner needs and Splunk’s Partner+ program.
  • Evangelize Splunk Solutions: Drive excitement for Splunk’s new use cases and solutions, ensuring partners build technical capabilities and expand business with Splunk.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong working relationships with key stakeholders within Splunk and partner organizations. Coordinate resources effectively to ensure the right support is available at the right time, fostering advocacy for Splunk within partner organizations.
  • Technical Sales Support: Provide technical support to partners, including training, pre‑sales support, and ensuring proper engagement with Splunk resources for timely delivery.
  • Solution Delivery & Advocacy: Collaborate with partners to deliver successful engagements, ensuring customer satisfaction and a clear demonstration of Splunk’s value. Present joint solutions to customers, both onsite and remotely, at events such as conferences and trade shows. Advocate for the voice of the partner within Splunk, ensuring their concerns and feedback are heard.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or partner management, with a strong understanding of working with Global SIs, VAR and MSPs.
  • Ideally first hands‑on experience in Security and/or Observability.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical and business value to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to drive partner success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Diverse educational backgrounds are welcome.
  • Fluent Italian & English, both written and spoken.
  • Additional background in Big Data, Machine Learning, APM, IoT, Operational Intelligence is a plus.
