You will oversee utility-scale solar PV plants, manage O&M contracts, and lead a team of technicians. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and over 3 years of O&M management experience in solar energy. A leading international Independent Power Producer (IPP) is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead the daily operations of a rapidly expanding portfolio of utility-scale solar assets across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of utility-scale solar PV plants.
• Manage O&M contracts and a team of technicians, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure availability and yield targets are met.
• Optimise asset efficiency in collaboration with the Asset Management team.
• Oversee budgets and report on performance and cost trends.
• Conduct regular site visits to maintain hands-on understanding of site operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years of O&M management experience, ideally in solar energy.
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems (inverters, trackers, SCADA / monitoring).
• Proven leadership and team-management abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of HSE regulations and compliance standards.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
