A leading EPC contractor is seeking a Site Material Specialist for a major project in Lower Saxony, Germany. The role involves coordinating material processes, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations, and managing documentation. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in Oil & Gas projects, familiarity with material management systems like SAP, and command of English and German. A knowledge of Italian is considered a plus.

Site Material Specialist – Gas Pipeline Project | Lower Saxony, Germany

About the Company

For an international EPC contractor and recognized leader in the construction of energy infrastructure and large‑scale Oil & Gas projects, we are looking to hire a Site Material Specialist to support a major project in Lower Saxony, Germany.

The candidate will act as a key technical interface between the QA / QC and Construction teams.

What you will do

• Coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of project materials.
• Ensure materials meet all technical specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Manage documentation and traceability records; support Procurement with supplier follow‑up and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate with Construction, QA / QC, and HSE teams to ensure proper material handling and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles within Oil & Gas, pipeline, or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of material specifications and international standards (API, ASTM, EN, ISO).
• Experience with material management systems or ERP tools (SAP or equivalent).
• Good command of English and German (written and spoken); Italian is a plus.
