A leading logistics provider in Italy is seeking a Major Account Executive to join the Sales & Marketing Department. The successful candidate will manage customer relationships, meet sales targets, and ensure customer satisfaction. A strong background in sales, along with fluency in Italian and intermediate English, is required. This is a full-time permanent position located in Treviso, offering a remuneration package commensurate with experience.

PROFILE
Experience and Skills
  • High School Diploma/Bachelor Degree
  • Solid experience in Sales field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (level: intermediate in Excel)
  • Knowledge of English language, written and spoken (level: intermediate)
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian language, written and spoken (level: advanced)

MAIN ACTIVITIES
  • Ensure the achievement of sales targets for assigned and newly acquired customers within their area of responsibility, in accordance with sales strategies and policies.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers and prospects through personal sales visits/direct contact, maintaining strong and lasting relationships.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, working closely with relevant departments within DHL to ensure that inquiries are handled appropriately and that customer needs are recognized and met.
  • Ensure that all customer reports related to customer service and/or credit control are coordinated and handled through the appropriate DHL departments.
  • Formulate a personal sales plan that incorporates initiatives to identify and acquire new business prospects and maximize growth within the existing customer base.
  • Build a strong customer relationship to ensure maximum business growth by taking a consultative approach, monitoring performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop knowledge of DHL's products/services and business activities in order to suggest the best possible solutions and strategies to customers, leveraging new opportunities from existing and potential customers, ensuring maximum penetration of DHL in assigned territory.
  • Manage the process inherent in customer visits and business agreements to ensure that customer information is maintained accurately in the customer portal/database.
  • Ensure cooperation with other members of the sales team.
