A global luxury brand in Rome is seeking an IS&T Workplace Operations Specialist to enhance the digital workplace experience. This role focuses on creating modern workplaces, ensuring VIP support, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of IT support experience, a relevant degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and is fluent in English and Italian. The position offers collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in strategic projects across the organization.

Competenze

  • 10+ years experience in Digital Workplace, end-user computing, or IT support roles.
  • Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written).
  • Experience with corporate networks (VPN, Wi-Fi, Active Directory).

Mansioni

  • Lead and support workplace technologies across corporate offices and boutiques.
  • Collaborate closely with central Group IS&T teams and ensure local implementation.

The position is base in Rome.
The IS&T Workplace Operations Specialist repot to the IS&T Unit Director and operates within a global luxury Group, contributing to the delivery and evolution of the Digital Workplace services across multiple regions and business units.
The role ensures a premium, seamless end-user experience aligned with Maison and Group IS&T standards and governance. It requires strong coordination with central IS&T teams domains, regional IT functions, and corporate stakeholders to guarantee consistent service quality across the organization.
This position is key in supporting high-end corporate users, boutiques, and executive environments.

Job responsabilities

Support and execute strategies for creating modern digital workplaces that integrate collaborative tools, communication platforms, and user-friendly technologies to improve employee experience and productivity.
Identify and implement emerging technologies and best practices to enhance the digital workplace environment and support organizational goalsincluding sustainable IT practices such as optimizing energy consumption of devices and data centers, and promoting responsible e-waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of digital workplace initiatives with business objectives and user needs.
Continuously assess and enhance the user experience through usability testing, feedback mechanisms, and user training programs to ensure that digital workplace solutions align with user needs and expectations.

Workplace Operations & Support

  • Lead and support workplace technologies (endpoints, collaboration tools, mobility services) across corporate offices and boutiques, ensuring alignment with Brand and Group standards.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions.
  • Support tailored, premium service to VIP and executive users.

Coordination within the Group IS&T Organization

  • Collaborate closely with central Group IS&T teams to adopt global guidelines, architecture principles, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure local implementation of Group-wide workplace strategies, standards, and lifecycle management programs.
  • Participate in Group-driven projects, contributing local insights and ensuring proper deployment and adoption.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, Networking, Compliance, Retail IT) to guarantee end-to-end service consistency.
  • Support reporting activities and contribute to Group-wide KPIs, SLAs, and service performance tracking.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead or contribute to Digital Workplace initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience and operational efficiency across the Group.
  • Drive local rollout of new workplace tools and technologies in alignment with global roadmaps.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and provide structured feedback to central IS&T team.
  • Manage local vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to Brand and Group service standards.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of devices (procurement, configuration, asset management, decommissioning) in accordance with Brand and Group policies.

Security & Compliance

  • Guarantee compliance with Group cybersecurity policies and ensure secure configuration of all endpoints.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and adoption of Group-wide security initiatives.
Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, Apple) are a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in Digital Workplace, end-user computing, or IT support roles.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to simplify complexity.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge technical and end-user stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written).

Technical Skills

  • Advanced expertise with Windows environments; macOS proficiency is highly desirable.
  • Strong mastery of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Endpoint Manager).
  • Strong experience with MDM/EMM tools, preferred Workspace ONE
  • Knowledge of corporate networks (VPN, Wi-Fi, Active Directory).
  • Familiarity with videoconferencing and meeting-room technologies used in luxury corporate settings.
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security and compliance frameworks.
