An international contractor in Fano is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to lead project execution and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and 8-10 years of relevant experience, including strong knowledge of instrumentation systems and fluency in English.

Position

We are currently looking for aSenior Instrumentation and Control Engineerto join our engineering center in Fano.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading discipline activities during project execution and/or bidding phases, ensuring compliance with corporate procedures, schedules, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and approve all discipline deliverables (specifications, datasheets, reports, studies, etc.)
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and Project Management to ensure technical consistency
• Review and validate vendor and subcontractor documentation
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
• Monitor discipline man-hours and report deviations or extra needs
• Participate in internal and client meetings as required
• Develop and maintain the 3D model area of responsibility according to internal procedures
• Ensure quality and compliance with international standards and project requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics, Automation, or similar)
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role within EPC projects
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and automation systems design
• Solid understanding of international standards and specifications
• Technical leadership, critical thinking, and effective team coordination skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
